The delicious potato pancakes are shallow-fried pancakes made from grated potatoes and onions. Potato pancakes are quick and easy to make at home with simple ingredients. We can use all-purpose flour to get the desired crisp taste and texture. You can use more flour if the mixture seems too wet.

Serves: 6 pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 large dark brown potato or 2 large Gold Potatoes, grated (1 cup grated)
- 1 large onion, 1/4 cup grated
- 2 tsp All-Purpose Flour (Maida) or Rice Flour
- 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/8 tsp Black Pepper(powder)
- 3-4 tsp Cooking Oil, for shallow frying
- Salt as needed
Steps:
- Take a potato and peel and grate potato using a large grater in a bowl. You have to place a potato in a water bowl to prevent them from turning brown.
- Wash the potatoes 3-4 times and drain any excess liquid in the potatoes. You can also use the strainer to remove the excess liquid in the potatoes.
- Take a bowel and Add grated potato and sliced onion in it.
- Add all-purpose flour like Maida and rice flour, black pepper powder and salt in it and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves in it and mix well.
- Now take a small metal cooking pot with a long handle (pan) and 2-3 tsp oil in it.
- Now divide the mixture in many portions. You can make the pancake using your hand.
- Take a portion in your hand and making it a round shape and Flatten it a little to give patties like shape.
- when the oil is the medium-hot. you can place the 2-3 pancakes in it gently.
- After the 2-3 minutes the pancake surface turning golden brown. You can flatten it with a spatula. Transfer to paper towel-lined plates to drain.
- Repeat it until the mixture is used. you can Serve crispy potato pancakes with cheese dip in coffee or tea time.
