Paneer Tikka is a delicious tandoori snack or starter recipe. This recipe is making it in the oven. Amazingly simple and delicious recipe of Paneer Tikka with or without oven. Paneer Tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer. Paneer is a firm Indian cheese that soaks up the flavor from marinating paneer chunks with spices and yogurt and grilled in a tandoor or Tawa. A tikka is basically any vegetable, paneer marinated in a highly flavourful seasoning and grilled to perfection. Here large chunks of paneer have been marinated in a tangy marinade made of curds, chaat masala, Kasuri methi, ginger and garlic and then cooked in the oven. Paneer tikka can be as is …

Ingredients For Tikka
- 1/2 hung Curd(yogurt drain all water)
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon Corn Garlic Paste(Cornflour or gram flour optional)
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 tips cummin powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Garan masala powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tbsp chaat masala powder
- 1 tbsp mustard oil for cooking oil
For Garnishing
- 1 Lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1/4 green chutney
Directions
step 1:Take a hung curd in a bowl. if you have not a hung curd than take a fresh curd in a soft cotton cloth and hang it and squeeze the cotton and drain the water from it.
Step 2: Now take the curd in s bowl. Add cornflour, ginger garlic paste, a pinch of turmeric powder, cumin powder and 1 tbsp coriander powder and lemon juice and chaat masala. Add salt as per your taste. Add 12 tbsp in it.
Step 3 :Mix well using a spoon or whisk.
step 4:Now take the vegetables like (Green Capsicum, Red Capsicum and onion). Cut the vegetables and the paneer into small pieces into square size.
Step 5:Add the vegetables and paneer cubes in the curd mixture. Mixed all in them until all the vegetable and paneer are coated with curd mixture(marinate).
Step 6:Now Take the coated vegetable bowl and cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
step 7:For Grilling, we have used two types of skewers: metal skewers and wooden skewers. If you are using wooden skewers then soak the wooden skewers in cold water. If you are using metal skewers then grease them with oil.
Step 8:Preheat the oven to 200 degrees c for at least 10 minutes.
step 9:Skewer the veggies and paneer in the skewer. Take a rack or a plate and arrange the paneer skewers. Brush the tikka or veggies with a small amount of oil.
Bake the panner tikka 15 to 20 minutes at 200 degrees celsius in a pre-heated oven.
- On the halfway turn the skewers and keep again in the oven and bake till golden.
- Remove skewers from the oven and transfer to a plate.
- Sprinkle the chaat masala and lemon juice on paneer tikka.
- Serve the yummy paneer tikka to your friends and family with green chutney.
